I had been keeping my eye on the weather in Moab all winter. waiting for them to get a decent snowfall at a time when i could make the trip down. Snow was in the forecast for the weekend so I decided to chance it..... I was really really happy to get to photograph delicate arch in the snow. snowfalls of any measure are relatively rare in Arches,and to get a nice sunny day before the snow melts too much is even more of a rarity. I'm happy now after getting these shots.. delicate arch in the snow is something i can scratch of my list of photos I want.

That really is spectacular. Usually when I see photos from these regions the temperature looks hot, it looks dusty, and very dry - definitely unusual and unique to see it with some snow like this. Great work!
