it probably wasn't your intention but the compliment of colors in the foreground to the mountain background is very eye catching.

Nice as always.

Are these moutain areas you shoot typically close to paved roads? Or are these areas you backpack into and can only reach on foot? I've haven't spent much time in Colorado.

Great shot too, I like the bright foreground, then dark in the middle, then bright again in the background of the shot, it layers the image nicely.

every spot is different, some spots are accesed by cars some.. almost all of them require hiking... this shot is accessed by a dirt road and then a short hike from the road

Nice, I think the best ones are the hikes, mainly because one can find a little solitude away from the masses. Colorado seem like quite a place man, I'll look forward to more.

There are some epic trails up around here. You do much backpacking or are they usually day trips? I've got some backpacking trips coming up soon and I've never went with all my camera gear before, i dunno how I'm going to fit it all in my pack.

Nice. I love how the little light blue flowers keep my eye wondering through the image. Seem like it brings the great depth of the image to the serface. Very nice

I love this shot, but I honestly can't wait for the cold season so I can go up to that area and hit the slopes!
