I have a picture already posted from this exact same angle.. the original plan was to hike to the top of the dunes for sunset.. that didnt work out too well because about half way up we got caught in a ridiculous wind storm... I can tell you that the sand dunes are an unfriendly place during high winds. thought my legs were going to get sandblasted off so went back down and took this shot. maybe next time.

Nice! It's been so long since I've been there... I think I was maybe 13, 14? Something around there.

I had fun (trying) walking up the dunes. Unfortunately, I'm a red-head, and burn easily, even with sunscreen... ;^.^
