A bull elk and his harem spend the morning grazing on whats left of the grasses of an extremely short summer. Longs Peak, one of Colorado's most famous "fourteeners" is already covered in a blanket of snow. Low lying clouds, caused by temperature inversion, are stuck in the lower valleys, completing as perfect a scene as I can imagine.
