So my friend Evan :iconkrakpics: took me up here.... He's lived here for about a month and I didn't ever think to check this place out after living here for 4 years! It just goes to show how much there really is to see in Colorado. This is only a few mile drive and a 3 mile hike from my house... places close to home make me happy now with gas prices where they're at. The sunset kinda fizzled out on this shot.. there is a lot of smog in the air from all the forest fires around the country.

Great shot, gas prices are really crimping my travels as well. I used to go everywhere without a care, everything is preplanned and very thought out now. I turn the car on for a purpose not a cruise.

its the exact same way with me. its a bummer. last summer and past summers i would just jump in the car with no real destination in mind anytime i felt like going somewhere. its a bummer for sure
