Mt. Bierstadt (14,060 ft.) Looms large over Lake Abyss, as seen from near the summit of Mt. Evans (14,264 ft.) Two more prominent "fourteeners", Greys Peak (14,270 ft.) and Torreys Peak (14,267 ft.) are seen in the distance, still bathed in the warm glow of sunset.

I'm amazed there are road up into these areas. It seems out here in Utah much of the wilderness and high alpine views are only accesible via foot. Do you much backpacking? Or are most of your adventures day trips?
It's really just trail ridge road in Rocky Mountain National Park and the road up mt evans that get you up this high. You have to work for most of the other views. I do a lot of hiking day trips, but also backpacking when the destination is further away
